Great news for hotrod/ratrod builders. No more shitty fiberglass bodies. It may or may not reduce the value of actual '32s but over saturating the market. We'll see I guess. I think its good news overall. Apparently they're gonna do a couple other iconic body styles as well.

Ford isn't building them, they are licensing another company to reproduce them. They did this with the early broncos also.
For some people, you can only get a
factory original
'32 in one way, so I don't think this will effect the values to much.

That's pretty sweet, and with a price between 12-16k it's actually pretty affordable to get a showroom quality car.

it might CORRECT the value of actual '32s, which would be nice.
This is good news. Wonder if this means air bags? EEK

I think that's great. This way hot rodders still can go crazy on their builds without destroying rare original examples. Win-Win situation.
I wish other manufacturers would do the same, I would love to see a proper Mercedes 170 Hot Rod.

It's nice to see the 5 window finally get repopped in steel to stock specs. Brookville has been building the roadster and 3 window in steel for a long time. Then Steve's auto had the 34 three window. Problem is most of these bodies are way too expensive for most rodders. Now all they need to do is to start stamping 32-34 ford pickup cabs :)

I've often wondered whether there's a market in providing factory-spec bodyshells from original blueprints for popular classic cars.
You could start with the big money-makers like classic 911s, E-Types, muscle/pony cars, Fezzas etc.
From there you can move onto the more obscure/low-budget cars that I rather like (and also tend to go rusty the most).
I'd love to do a similar thing with engines as well. It'd be kickass to produce updated versions of great engines completely brand new.

Saw some of these at SEMA this year. The raw metal bodies looked amazing as a finished car. I'm anticipating a lot of clear coat 32's in the next year or two.
